Melissa McCarthy flaunts impressive 75-lb weight loss as she films Jimmy Kimmel

Melissa McCarthy is continuing to show off her 75-pound weight loss .

This time, the actress was all smiles as she arrived on the set to film an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Melissa wore a form-fitting black flower dress while carrying a squared white handbag inspired by a pizza box.

The Little Mermaid star arrived on the set on Thursday, June 27 in Los Angeles, California. Her fashionable midi dress was ruched at the chest and on the sleeves and the star paired the ensemble with matching slingback, pointed leather heels. She wore her hair in loose waves as she waved to fans who were waiting for her outside of the set.

Melissa was on the late-night show to talk about her career as she is set to join Hulu's hit series Only Murders in the Building for season 4. The actress will join Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez's Whodunnit series as they are heading from NYC to Hollywood when it premieres on August 27.

For the episode, Jiminy Glick stepped in as guest host for Martin Short who had previously stepped in as guest host for Jimmy Kimmel . Jiminy interviewed Melissa and fellow guest Nick Kroll on the Thursday episode of the show.

Jiminy Glick is a fictional character created and portrayed by Martin in the TV series Primetime Glick, the film Jiminy Glick in Lalawood, and Short's Broadway show Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me. Jiminy originated as a recurring character on The Martin Short Show.

Melissa has made several appearances lately showing off her slimmer frame. The actress has reportedly lost 75 pounds. She has previously been open about her struggle with her weight and the road to acceptance and not constantly "worrying" about her weight.

"I finally said [to myself], ‘Oh for God sakes, stop worrying about it, and it may be the best thing I’ve ever done," Melissa said about her weight on CBS This Morning. “I truly stopped worrying about [my weight]. I stopped over-analyzing, overthinking, over-doing anything…I just stopped constantly being worried about it and I think there’s something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked.”
