Keke Palmer is standing on business. The multihyphenate turned up to the 2024 BET Awards red carpet in Los Angeles with the girl group DivaGurl. She recently released the music video “S.O.B.” featuring the group, with her as the fourth member. The group members are Sade, LaShay and Monet. The Acronym “S.O.B.” stands for “stand on business.”
On the carpet, the four gave classic 90s girl group vibes, wearing variations on a light blue and white theme. Palmer wore a short embellished dress featuring a high slit. In addition she wore a diamond bracelet, drop earrings, and multiple rings.
She kept the glits up down to her shoes. They were platform stilettos. The shoes featured a peeop toe as well as an ankle strap. The heels were also studded with crystals of varying sizes. They likely provided Palmer with an addition six inches of glamorous height.
She wasn’t the only one to wear platform heels. Sade wore a satin platform sandal with a block heel. The shoe was also peep-toe and featured a cutout at the vamp.
Monet wore an embellished knee-high, pointed-toe boot, while LaShay wore a simple white sandal.
Palmer is scheduled to perform at the BET Awards and it is likely she may do so with the entire group. While working with the group, Keke has gone by Keyana, which is her legal middle name.
The BET Awards celebrate achievements in entertainment, honoring excellence in music, sports, television and movies. Taraji P. Henson will host the 2024 event, which will feature performances by Ice Spice, Tyla, GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, Victoria Monét and more.
