Ice Spice Twerks At A Gas Station For Her 2024 BET Awards Performance

Ice Spice twerked up and down a makeshift gas station during her performance at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday (June 20). The Bronx artist , donning white lace lingerie, unleashed her newest single , “Phat Butt,” kicking off the track while posturing in front of a graffiti-tagged concrete wall.

The artist then segued into “Think U the Sh*t (Fart)” after blowing up the gas station, where she took a couple of shots at an unnamed rival. “Think you the sh*t, bi**h?/ You not even the fart (Grrah)/ I be goin’ hard (Grrah)/ I’m breakin’ they hearts, like,” she rapped. “Bi**hes be quick, but I’m quicker (Like)/ Bi**hes be thick, but I’m thicker (Like)/ She could be rich, but I’m richer (Damn).”

Ice Spice released “Phat Butt” on Friday (June 21) in preparation for her upcoming album, Y2K . Ice continued attacking an unknown rival in this track, calling them out for “copying” and “biting” her. And if you couldn’t tell from the bass-heavy production of “Phat Butt,” Y2K will for sure be a drill album .

In an interview with TODAY.com , the New Yorker explained what fans could expect from her debut LP. “It’s definitely gonna be a drill album,” she shared. “But I have a lot of different sounding beats that I haven’t really been heard on much, so I’m excited for those more than anything. I really want to know what my fans think about these new-sounding songs.”

But it appears Spice’s rivals aren’t taking her shots too kindly . In fact, Latto responded to the rapper’s jabs in her track “Sunday Service.” Latto interpolated “Think U The Sh*t (Fart),” addressing the chorus, rapping, “Think I’m the sh*t? I know it h*e.”

She then doubled down and shot the music video at the Bronx, pulling up in Ice Spice’s stomping grounds in Black Suburbans—just as the Atlanta rapper asserted she would. To make matters worse, Latto is also gearing up to drop an album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea , and the title is allegedly a reference to Ice as well.
