Burglary suspects arrested after short DTLA chase ends in crash

Burglary suspects in a white SUV were taken into custody following a brief vehicle pursuit Thursday in downtown Los Angeles.

The pursuit began about 9:20 a.m. Thursday in the area of Sixth Street and Broadway, where one of the suspects was left behind, the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section reported.

The chase ended about three minutes later in the area of Second Street and Broadway when the vehicle crashed. The remaining suspects were taken into custody. The number of suspects was not provided, and it was unclear how they were identified as burglary suspects.

It was not immediately disclosed whether anyone was hurt. It was also unclear if any merchandise was recovered.
