According to TMZ , Marlon Wayans’ Los Angeles mansion was the latest celebrity home to be burglarized .

Per the outlet, burglars snuck into Marlon’s backyard and “shattered a back window” around 2:30 AM on Saturday (June 29).

Reportedly, the White Chicks actor wasn’t home at the time, but his older brother Keenen Wayans was sound asleep and heard a noise, but brushed it off and returned to his slumber. The next morning, a staffer discovered Marlon’s home had been ransacked, with the thieves stealing a safe and “several thousands of dollars in cash.”

Marlon Wayans attends the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton on January 07, 2024 in Beverly Hills, California.

Following the incident, Marlon spoke out in attempt to add humor to the situation and shed light on the seriousness of the crime. However, he made it clear that the “most valuable thing” the burglars could have taken is his entire house.

“First and foremost, thank you to all the people that checked on me seeing if everything is okay,” he said in an Instagram video. “I was burglarized. I want you to know, they didn’t really get much because I don’t own sh*t.” In a caption for the video, Marlon further expounded on the situation.

“God is so Good. Everyone is fine. I’m grateful,” he wrote. “Dear ROBBERS and OTHERS, I am the WRONG N**** to ROB. Save your energy. I don’t have anything valuable in my house except MY HOUSE. Sorry, i live a simple life with 2 cats and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover, you will need a jumpstart if you steal it cuz the battery is dead.”

He then advised those who have been breaking into homes : “don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions, sh*t is too heavy!!! You want to carry all that bullsh*t? Throw your back out, and for what?! I repeat I don’t own sh*t valuable. I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry. Please pick a better [target] thank you and love you… still.”

Jokingly, Marlon added, “Go down the street, there’s lots of flashy ni**as over there.”

His home is the latest in a string of robberies, following ex-NBA player Patrick Patterson and NBA guard Talen Horton-Tucker’s residences last month.
