Former NFL Player Hits LeBron James With Wild Lakers Accusation
By Angelo Guinhawa,

Former NFL player Emmanuel Acho firmly believes that Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is no longer focused on winning a championship. According to Acho, if LeBron really wanted to win a chip, he wouldn't re-sign with the Purple and Gold.
Acho shared his rather stunning accusation on Fox Sports' Speak, where he also noted several other key factors that indicate that LeBron isn't really prioritizing winning.
"LeBron's 'primary objective' is no longer winning championships," Acho started. "Because if his primary objective was to win a championship, I don't know if JJ Redick would be the head coach.
"If his primary objective was to win championships I don’t know that he would be playing for the Lakers. If his primary objective was to win a championship, I don't know that Bronny James would be on the team."
The ex-Philadelphia Eagles linebacker added that LeBron James and the Lakers have different goals now. While James is focused on playing with his son, the LA franchise still wants to win.
With LeBron getting what he wanted, however, Acho emphasized that Lakers fans should be concerned.
James signed the maximum he could get from the Lakers, agreeing to a two-year, $104 million deal with a no-trade clause.
It remains to be seen how LeBron James will perform in 2024-25. He averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game last season, all while shooting 54.0 percent from the field. But as Acho hinted, if the Lakers struggle next campaign, there's going to be a lot of criticisms on James.
