Lebron James and his son Bronny James will experience what few father-and-son duos can even imagine–sharing the floor of an NBA court together. However, Bronny will need to make it through the NBA Summer League and prove he can make the gameday roster before this feat can be accomplished.

Bronny will don the Los Angeles Lakers “purple and gold” for the first time Saturday when the Lakers Summer League squad debuts against the Sacramento Kings. Several fans were already skeptical about the Lakers spending a pick on Bronny, and their expectations somewhat reflect that ahead of his first taste of NBA action.

Danny Bennett is showing some reserved excitement about Bronny barely scoring above his college average saying, “Bronny going off with 7 points today!”

Another fan was more direct with their low expectations saying, “Can I bet the under on him?”

One Lakers fan hopes this is the moment Bronny proves him wrong saying, “Ready to see it bc I’m still not on board with the Bronny pick.”

Several fans already expect Bronny coverage to dominate the media with one saying, “Non stop Bronny coverage incoming.”

“This about to get more coverage than the NBA Finals,” Shaun Bellamy wrote.

Uncle Demi might be one of the few fans showing faith in Bronny as he begins to blaze his own trail as a part of the NBA brotherhood.

“Bronny really bout to prove to the world he belongs and I’m 100% here for it,” Uncle Demi replied.

Dalton Knecht was also featured in the post, and he received some attention too. However, as some fans are predicting, Bronny’s name will be the one we’re likely to hear the most Saturday.
