NBA Fans Mock LeBron James and Bronny James After Bronny's Early Setback

Bronny James made his NBA Summer League debut on Saturday, and his performance was quite underwhelming. In a 108-94 loss to the Sacramento Kings, Bronny recorded just four points on 2-of 9 shooting, two rebounds, and two assists. He also had a plus-minus of -16.

On Sunday, news spread that Bronny would miss the Lakers' second Summer League game against the Golden State Warriors with "trace swelling" in his knee, according to Lakers beat writer Mike Trudell .

Once fans learned about Bronny's injury, they were quick to call him and his father, LeBron James, out for it being a "load management" injury.

Throughout LeBron's NBA career, especially during his Lakers tenure, he has been known to sit out games for rest. Fans have taken notice of this and made it known on social media that they didn't love the idea of Bronny possibly getting the same treatment.

In the past four seasons, LeBron has missed a total of 101 games. That is almost 32% of the contests (2020-21 only had 72 games due to COVID). Granted, not all these missed games were due to load management. Some of them were missed for a real injury. But a good portion was for rest.
