LeBron James Sends Unapologetic Message To Bronny's Critics

Unlike his dad, Bronny James isn't poised to take over the NBA upon his arrival. While the Los Angeles Lakers rookie has still been grabbing headlines since LA drafted him in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, his impact on the league is expected to pale in comparison to LeBron James' debut some 21 years ago.

As it turns out, however, Bronny could not care any less.

In a recent interview during Team USA's training camp, LeBron himself revealed that his son just doesn't get bothered by all the criticism that has been thrown in his direction. According to the 20-time All-Star, Bronny just takes it all in stride.

"I don't know if people really understand Bronny," James told Dave McMenamin of ESPN. "He doesn't care. I actually care a little bit. When I came in [as a rookie], I wanted people to like me and some of the things that people were saying about me kind of bothered me early on in my career. ... He doesn't give a f--k .

"He does not care about nobody. He doesn't even listen to that stuff. He's like the coolest. He's like the complete opposite of his dad. His dad will say something [to address the critics]. Bro does not care. ... Everything that's being said about him, he really does not care."

The critics can spew as much slander as they want against Bronny, but it seems the 19-year-old won't let any of it affect him.

This is a testament not only to the young Dman's mental fortitude but also to the way LeBron and his wife, Savannah, brought Bronny up.
