Halle Bailey Elevates the Little Black Dress With Gold Floral Bra Cups in Raisa Vanessa Look at ESPY Awards 2024

Halle Bailey put her own twist on the classic little black dress style at the 2024 ESPY Awards on Thursday in Los Angeles. The actress and singer fashioned a sleek and stylish minidress for the red carpet.

For the awards show, Bailey fashioned a look from Raisa Vanessa’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The black velvet strappy minidress featured gold flower shaped bra details and a small cutout on the bodice.

Bailey paired her minidress with a set of strappy black sandal heels. She also wore delicate rings, bracelet and a necklace, which spelled out the name of her son, Halo, whom she welcomed in 2023. “The Little Mermaid” star also wore a pair of statement flower earrings in gold.

As for her glam, Bailey kept her makeup clean and simple, with a subtle smokey eye and long lashes and a soft, neutral lip. The actress and singer fashioned her hair in an updo style with her waves cascading down her back.

Bailey’s 2024 ESPY Awards look harkens back to her recent ensemble on the red carpet of the 2024 BET Awards on June 30. For the event, Bailey wore a backless, sleeveless black gown courtesy of Avellano’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection .

At the time, Bailey told WWD via email she “wanted to wear something that makes me feel great in my own skin, especially in this new phase of my life.” That same style sensibility seemingly translated to the entertainer’s attire for the 2024 ESPY Awards.

The ESPY, Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly, Awards honor the best athletes in sports from the WNBA, MLB, UFC and more.
