Allyson Felix Embraces 3D Florals in Sculptural Minidress for ESPY Awards 2024 Red Carpet

Allyson Felix gave summertime florals a twist with her look at the 2024 ESPY Awards on Thursday in Los Angeles. The seven-time Olympic gold medalist track and field athlete and ESPY Award recipient fashioned a white minidress with three-dimensional florals . The dress featured flowers adorning the frock in various shapes, with white petals on the bodice and skirt of the dress, creating a structured, sculptural look.

The hemline of the minidress was inches above Felix’s knee and included thin straps on the bodice . Felix paired the dress with a set of black, strappy, peep-toe stilettos. She accessorized with a few dainty rings, a pair of metallic statement earrings and a mirrored small clutch.
Off the red carpet and away from track and field, Felix developed her own brand, Saysh, a shoe brand by women and for women. Most recently the company introduced its collaboration with Chief, a private membership network for female executives, in October 2023. Felix launched Saysh alongside her brother Wes in June 2021.

Florals, a ubiquitous trend during the spring and summertime seasons, have been seen on a number of celebrities and public figures as of late. In London, the Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament has been the site of a number of floral looks from Princess Beatrice , Carole Middleton and Hannah Waddingham, among others.
Kerry Washington, Ayo Edebiri and Gigi Hadid were among the stars who fashioned three-dimensional florals for the Met Gala’s “Garden of Time” theme. Months later, the style and variation on the trend still makes waves on the red carpet .
The ESPY, Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly, Awards honor the best athletes in sports from the WNBA, MLB, UFC and more. Coco Gauff, Caitlin Clark and Patrick Mahomes are among the 2024 ESPY Awards’ high-profile nominees. 23-time Grand Slam champion and ESPY Award recipient Serena Williams will serve as host for the evening’s ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
