Kysre Gondrezick: “I think he’ll be on the G-league team for sure.”
Jaylen Brown: “I don’t think so, I think because of his name, he’ll be on the Lakers.”
Brown's words may seem harsh, but he was sitting courtside to watch Bronny James play against the Celtics in the Summer League. James had yet another poor showing last night, scoring just 2 points, with 3 rebounds and 1 assist. James went 1-5 from the field, including going 0-3 from beyond the arc.
In his defense, Brown came out and clarified his comments, praising both LeBron James and Bronny. He noted that he looked forward to watching Bronny James develop as a player in the years to come.

James has not been playing well during the Summer League so far. This will not be an encouraging sign for fans of the Lakers, who hoped he would shine at the tournament.
