Lil Reese was arrested on suspicion of rape following an alleged sexual encounter with a woman at a Los Angeles hotel.

According to TMZ , the Chicago rapper is accused of forcing himself on the alleged victim , whom he had gone out with on a dinner date earlier that evening. It’s said that after dining with his accuser, Lil Reese took her to his room in the hotel he staying at in the city’s downtown area, where he insisted that the two have sex.

After refusing his advances, the victim says Lil Reese forced himself upon her in a sexual manner, despite her objecting to his actions. Following the alleged encounter, which is said to have occurred Sunday morning (July 14), it’s reported that the victim immediately went down to the hotel lobby and informed staff of the sexual assault, leading to police being called to the scene.

Upon arriving at the hotel, police arrested Lil Reese on suspicion of rape and he was taken into custody. Boosie Badazz, who was apparently on the scene at the time of Lil Reese’s arrest, took to social media to notify the public of the rapper’s detainment, calling for the public to get word back to Reese’s associates of the artist being cuffed and taken away by police.

“Anybody know lil Reese people the grim reapers people let them know they just took him to jail,” Boosie Badazz said in a short clip that surfaced roughly around the time of Lil Reese’s arrest.

Lil Reese was later released after posting $100,000 bond and has since spoken out regarding the accusations against him, which he vehemently denies.

“On my sister Ree Ree the whole story cap and made up fuc I look like this ain’t that,” the rapper wrote. “I know better and the same way ya’ll posting that shi make sure ya’ll post the case get thrown out on my court date they do anything for clout and tryna come up try again.”
