    Coroner identifies Los Angeles man who drowned in the Kern River at Hart Park

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County coroner’s office has identified a Los Angeles man who drowned in the Kern River at Hart Park on July 7th.

    Witnesses at the scene reported seeing a Miguel Mateo Tzaj, 27, Cuc in the water in distress. Kern County search and rescue used two boats to help look for the missing swimmer.

    The Rock Church host free food giveaways every third Saturday of each month

    Rescue crews managed to find Tzaj Cuc’s body six hours later.

    An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause and manner of his death.
