Summer weekends never fail to create a feeling of FOMO. There are just too many things going on all over the area to pick. But never fear, we’ve combed through the calendars, read all the newsletters, and scoured the listings to find all the fun things.

Maybe you’ll have a Ryan Reynolds sighting at one of the women’s Wrexham AFC games at UCLA, get down on the Broad’s main plaza at not one but two big concerts, or see some Shakespeare under the stars in Griffith Park. You can even show off your pecs at a bodybuilding competition in Culver City or catch a comedy show from Jen Kober at the Ice House in Pasadena.

Visit LAist.com for more to explore, including how to responsibly visit national parks this summer, what those cute little red foxes are doing in San Pedro, and some close-to-home field trip ideas that teach about California’s indigenous cultures.
