It's been a bit of a tough opening stretch for Bronny James in his NBA Summer League debut after getting drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year.

So far through three games, James is averaging 7 points, 3 rebounds, and zero assists per contest, with an average of 2 turnovers per game as well. While he had a career-high 12 points on Wednesday night, the criticism for the eldest son of LeBron James has been plentiful on social media.

James has supporters around him, though. Most recently, TMZ Sports reporters caught up with the legendary Shaquille O'Neal and asked if he had any advice for James amidst his early summer league struggles.

"Keep playing hard, Bronny," Shaq said. "Uncle Shaq loves you."

While we knew that it might be tough for James to succeed early on due to his smaller stature, one of the main things that he brought to the table was his three-point shooting. However, even that was a struggle early on.

James finally hit his first career three-pointer in Wednesday night's game.

Maybe this breakout performance will be enough to spur James forward and start a bit of a run in summer league. No matter what, as long as he takes Unle Shaq's advice and continues to play hard, he should be fine.
