Esta TerBlanche has died at the age of 51, her heartbroken goddaughter has confirmed.
The actress, well-known for playing Gillian Andrassy in All My Children , died suddenly at her home in North Hollywood on Thursday, her goddaughter Barbie Ashley has announced. Her cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
Medical responders believe she had been dead in the property for around a day before she was discovered. Esta's cause of death is currently under investigation, according to her representative Lisa Rodrigo.

Speaking to TMZ , Lisa said there no other information at this time. Esta shot to fame after she won Miss Teen South Africa in 1991. She then moved into the world of TV, where she got her starting role as Bienkie Naudé Hartman on the South African drama Egolim.
She later starred in All My Children as Gillian Andrassy, but her character was killed off in 2001 so she could move back to South Africa. Tributes have been pouring in for Esta on social media.
The All My Children X account wrote: "Rest in Peace Esta TerBlanche. Thank you for entertaining us with your beautiful and captivating performance. We will miss you, Princess." One fan replied: "Oh no! This is sad news. My condolences to Esta's family, friends, and colleagues."

Another commented: "I’m so sorry to hear this. I thought she was so beautiful," while a third fan wrote: "What in the world? How awful. May she rest."
Esta married to André Kock from 1997 until their divorce in 2008. The actress announced the split during an interview with Soap Opera Digest. She had taken a break from acting, before returning to Los Angeles to open a healing spa.
Esta's death comes just days after she sat down for her last ever interview. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest , she reflected on her time working on All My Children, saying: "The people I worked with were all so wonderful. It was such a privilege to be on the show.
"Cameron [Mathison] was just phenomenal and I feel so blessed that I was able to work with him. He really made every day just wonderful. It was just magical. I could not have been luckier. Esta is survived by her ex-husband André, and her goddaughter Barbie.
