Slash Mourns the “Devastating” Death of His 25-Year-Old Stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight

Famed Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash has just announced that his stepdaughter passed away on Friday, July 19. Lucy-Bleu Knight was 25 years old. According to reports, Knight passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California at an undisclosed residence.

Slash dated Knight’s mother Meegan in the late 1980s. The pair got back together around 2015. In the hours since Slash posted about the death of Knight, a number of fans have been commenting their condolences and offering their thoughts and prayers. A few famous friends of the family, including Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea and Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet, have publicly posted their condolences.

“Oh man, god bless,” Flea commented.

“My heart hurts for you guys,” said Violet. “All the love to your family rn.”

Slash made the announcement about Knight’s death mere hours after canceling four different dates on his current S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Tour. Unless more dates are postponed due to the sudden loss, Slash is expected to resume the tour on July 28 in Canada.

Who Was Slash’s Stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight?

Knight was the daughter of Mark Knight and Meegan Hodges. She was Slash and Samantha Somers Knight’s stepdaughter. She left behind her sister, Scarlet Knight, and step-siblings Cash and London Hudson. According to her LinkedIn profile, Knight worked for Electric Lady Management. She was born on December 6, 1998 and was only 25 years old when she passed on Friday.

The cause of Knight’s death has not been revealed and an autopsy has reportedly been scheduled. Knight’s last post on Instagram was notably concerning, considering its subject matter and the fact that it was scheduled to be posted after her death.
