New Takeout Italian Spot Coming to DTLA

PizzamoreLA , a new takeout Italian concept, is coming to DTLA . Owner Ivan Capasso says it will still be a few months before they officially open but did not provide an exact date.

According to the carry out spot’s Facebook, it will be offering pizza, pasta, and more.

Capasso also owns Italia Pasta e Pizza, a food truck and catering business in Covina that has been voted number 13 on Yelp’s Top 100 Pizza Spots in the U.S.

The food truck concept, established in 2021, offers authentic Neapolitan pizza with toppings like house-made burrata, pesto, spicy salami, sausage, and more. They also have a vegan Pesto pie with cherry tomato, mozzarella, and basil pesto; as well as calzones.

“We moved from Amalfi Coast (Italy) to California with the dream of opening up a Neapolitan Pizza stand, with the hopes of providing authenticity, freshness and showing our love and passion to the various communities in the greater Los Angeles area,” Italia Pasta e Pizza’s website says.
