Paul George's time with the Los Angeles Clippers was a tragedy. The supposed superteam he formed with Kawhi Leonard never truly worked out. Injuries and a bad performance in the playoffs led to their demise.

Now, George has moved on to greener pastures. The ex-Clippers star has signed a new deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. On his way out, George couldn't help but throw shade at his former team.

In his latest podcast episode, George insinuated that the Clippers were the "B-Team" in Los Angeles.

George got clowned on X for his comments. Many fans pointed out that he had the choice to join the supposed "A-Team" in the Lakers, but instead decided to go to Oklahoma City.

"Just a horrible thing to say. The Clippers gave him a max extension in 2020, brought in his friends, accommodated him.", @GMona48 said.

Other fans reminded PG of the fact that he said in his introductory press conference that he was a fan of the Clippers growing up.

It's not a good look for George, who has a history of burning bridges with his old teams.

George is looking to rewrite the narrative now that the star is with the Sixers. His time with the Clippers ended poorly, leading to only one Conference Finals appearance and no Finals showing.

As for the Clippers, they'll be reloading with Kawhi Leonard and James Harden on their roster.
