Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green didn't hold back his thoughts after an anonymous Summer League player accused Bronny James of getting special treatment from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bronny has been a hot topic following the Summer League after an unnamed player claimed that he "was never put in the best situation" in LA because everything was about the eldest son of LeBron James.

The anonymous player called it "very annoying" as Bronny "was treated as someone apart" from the team, according to The US Sun.

Green found the revelation "dumb," pointing out that it's not something new in the NBA. After all, it's only normal for players drafted by the team to get playing time and be "favored" more. Bronny was the Lakers' 55th overall pick in the 2024 Draft.

"Any player that is actually drafted will be showcased and favored more in summer league... These things are getting dumber and dumber," Green wrote on his Instagram Stories.

For what it's worth, it's not only Draymond Green who came to the defense of Bronny James and the team. A lot of Lakers fans also chimed in on the report and claimed that the anonymous player was only "jealous" of Bronny .

With the Summer League over and the preparation for the 2024-25 season underway, there will be a lot of eyes on Bronny and how he performs with the team. That said, it's up to the youngster to silence his doubters by proving that the Lakers' investment in him is not a waste.
