The source claims the Los Angeles Lakers gave Bronny preferential treatment at the Summer League.

“I ended up being very frustrated because I was never put in the best situation, or even put in some plays or game plans because they wanted Bronny to show his skills and shine,” said player told the US Sun.

One of James' fellow Lakers rookies came out in defense of him . Blake Hinson spoke to Lakers Nation and defended his teammate.

“No,” Hinson said. “Where is that (report) at? Honestly, you know how it is. Stuff like that doesn’t really shock me. But we need to figure out if that’s even true because to be totally honest with you, as far as his treatment, he was just a normal guy."

Unfortunately, Bronny, the son of LeBron James, will never escape rumors like this. It's one of the unique struggles the Lakers rookie will face as a pro in the NBA.
