Lakers Legend Pau Gasol Reveals 'Rookie Signing' With Huge Personal Announcement

Los Angeles Lakers legend Pau Gasol is bringing in a rookie ... to his family, that is.

Gasol made the revelation on Sunday after he announced on social media that they are welcoming their third baby to complete the "Gasol starting 5." The former NBA superstar posted a photo of his family, showing him and his eldest daughter, Elisabet Gianna, holding baby shoes.

In the caption, he wrote: "New Rookie signing! Gasol starting 5, coming this fall 2024 season."

Gasol didn't reveal the gender of the baby; however, the wait to know shouldn't be too long since the former Lakers forward did hint that his wife, Cat McDonnell, will be giving birth in the next couple of months.

Pau Gasol and his wife share two kids so far: 3-year-old Elisabet and 1-year-old Max.

It's definitely an exciting time for the Gasols as they continue to grow their family. And sure enough, Pau looks excited as he'll soon become a father of three.
