Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Ryan Brasier recorded a perfect inning in his return to the mound for his rehab appearance Saturday. Brasier pitched for Triple-A Oklahoma City during their 7-6 win over Tacoma.

In his rehab game, Brasier pitched one inning for the Oklahoma City Dodgers, recording a perfect inning as he notched two strikeouts while allowing zero earned runs.

This was the first game back for Brasier since April. Brasier has been on the 60-day injured list due to a calf strain. He was originally placed on the injured list on April 29, before he was moved to the 60-day IL on June 13. He recently threw a simulated game on July 20, and now has made a return to official game action.

The 36-year-old right-hander is in his first full season with the Dodgers after signing a minor league contract with the team in June 2023. Brasier appeared for the Dodgers in 39 games a season ago, posting a 0.70 ERA with 38 strikeouts, as he allowed just three earned runs across 38.2 innings.

Brasier is one of several Dodgers pitchers making a rehab start recently. Relievers Brusdar Graterol and Michael Grove each made rehab starts over the last week, and reliever Joe Kelly made his return to the Dodgers earlier this month. In addition to the upcoming return of the Dodgers’ relievers, they have seen starters Tyler Glasnow and Clayton Kershaw return from the IL and make starts this past week.
