What do we know about the A Halloween Feast horror comedy movie?

“As former dancer Angela Long teeters on the brink of madness, her family struggles to maintain a semblance of normalcy,” the official synopsis reads. “However, their attempts are futile, and an infamous dinner triggers an unraveling of their lives into unprecedented chaos. This descent includes a twisted sadomasochistic power struggle and a bizarre, bloody incident involving a possible dinosaur sighting. As secrets are exposed and tensions reach a boiling point, the family faces their darkest revelations at a spine-chilling Halloween feast.”

The movie is directed by Guile Branco, with this being Branco’s feature film directorial debut. Branco — who has acted in movies such as 2018’s Cowboy’s Heart, 2018’s Headshots, and 2022’s Sistema Bruto, among others — co-wrote the script alongside Arthur McClen.

Lowry is known for starring in horror movies such as 1973’s The Crazies, 1975’s Shivers, 1982’s Cat People, and 2022’s Fang. She also had a cameo in the 2010 remake of The Crazies, which was directed by Breck Eisner.

In addition to Lowry, A Halloween Feast stars Julia Coulter, Guile Branco, Lou D’Amato, Asia Lynn Pitts, and Pancho Moler.

A Halloween Feast will be released at the Lumiere Music Hall (9036 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills) in Los Angeles, California, on August 9, 2024, from Breaking Glass Pictures. It will then be available to watch everywhere on both Digital and On Demand starting on September 10, 2024.
