‘Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles’ Star Josh Flagg Reveals Whether He Sold His Childhood Dream Home After Buying It Unseen For $9.2 Million

Josh Flagg was in for a rude awakening when he made the risky decision to purchase his childhood dream home without seeing the inside first. In the most recent episode of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles , the high profile realtor opened the doors to his $9.2 million purchase only to find out that the interior was gutted.
“Well, see, when I bought the house, they didn’t really want to sell it to me,” Flagg told DECIDER when asked if he was expecting the house to be in such poor condition. “They were not motivated to sell but they said, ‘If you’re willing to pay our number, you can buy it, but we’re not interested in showing it.'”
Flagg explained that he had to give the owners a “lease back for a year-and-a-half,” meaning he wasn’t able to see the inside of the house — which had been uninhabited for 60 years — until a year after he bought it.
“They had told me that it needed a light fluff,” he said. “I went inside and that would not be what I would call a light fluff. It’s basically like one of those Western sets you see in the movies where you just see the facade of it and it falls down in the wind.”
According to Flagg, he still owns the house — and whether he’ll keep it forever is TBD.
“I love that house,” he told us. “I’ll probably buy another house in the meantime and fix that up while I live at the other house. And then when that’s done, I’ll decide if I want to move in or not.”
Flagg added that he “[doesn’t] really want to sell” the Beverly Hills property, though noted that “everything is for sale for the right price.”
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock .
