Whether the negotiations went all the way down to the wire, or it was just announced minutes before the MLB Trade Deadline, the Los Angeles Dodgers were able to pull off two trades in an attempt to bolster the roster.

Per Jeff Passan of ESPN, the Dodgers acquired starting pitcher Jack Flaherty from the Detroit Tigers.

The full trade included the Dodgers sending Thayron Liranzo and Trey Sweeney to the Tigers, per Robert Murray of Fansided.com .

Also per Murray, the Dodgers are acquiring veteran center fielder Kevin Kiermaier from the Toronto Blue Jays. Pitcher Ryan Yarbrough is being sent to the Blue Jays in exchange.

Flaherty, the 28-year-old righty, is originally from Burbank, CA. So far this season with the Tigers, he has a 7-5 record, a 2.95 ERA, and 133 strikeouts with a 0.96 WHIP.

Kiermaier, the 34-year-old out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is having a bit of a down year with a .195 batting average, 18 RBIs, and 4 home runs.
