Shiloh Jolie-Pitt seen for the first time since Brad Pitt court hearing delayed amid feud

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt looked fresh-faced as she was seen for the first time since it was announced a court hearing to drop her dad's surname has been delayed.

The 18-year-old was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday as she left a friend's house. Shiloh opted for a casual outfit, wearing a black hoodie which featured gold writing reading "Face the World", black jeans and bright yellow sneakers.

She accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses and a brown spring headband. Shiloh's outing comes as she was hit with the news she will have to wait longer to legally drop Brad Pitt's last name due to a clerical error in court.

The 18-year-old filed a petition to remove "Pitt" from her legal name back in May. She recently took out an ad in the Los Angeles Times announcing the removal of her father's last name.

Peter Levine, who is serving as legal representation for Shiloh in the matter has issued a statement about the delay. He revealed the hearing has been pushed back to later this month.

Levine said: "Unfortunately, the court was unable to complete the background check ahead of today's hearing, so the hearing was rescheduled for August 19." In a statement shared with People , he added: "Everyone undergoing a name-change request needs to have a background check conducted by the court clerk, and because of clerical error, Shiloh's hearing has been continued to a new date."

In preparation for the name change, Shiloh took out an ad to announce the removal of her dad's last name. The ad is reportedly a requirement that needs to be done in order for the court to approve her petition.

It states Shiloh's intention to go from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. It also says that if anyone objects to the petition, they have to show up in court and plead their case.
