Though college football has been in an unending state of flux over the past few years, the Big Ten graced us with at least one constant to hold onto amid the sea of change: The beloved "Maps" commercial is here to stay. That being said, the version we'll see on television screens this fall wasn't immune from adjustments of its own, as it now includes Big Ten newcomers USC , UCLA , Oregon and Washington .

It still starts on the West Coast, as the original version did with a shot of the Rose Bowl, and it still features Guards' bubbly track "Silver Lining" as its accompanying music. The only major difference is the inclusion of the four aforementioned former Pac-12 powers.

Washington is the first school to appear, followed closely behind by Oregon's Autzen Stadium -- and a larger-than-life rendering of The Duck. The proverbial sky-cam then sweeps down the California coast to unveil UCLA and USC.

Naturally, the Rose Bowl -- home of the Bruins -- is still included. As is an illuminated Hollywood sign overlooking both of the Los Angeles-based schools.

The commercial then runs its traditional course, sweeping across the Midwest for the likes of Iowa and Nebraska before finishing in Piscataway, New Jersey, with Rutgers . If anything, it reflects the true coast-to-coast impact that the Big Ten now boasts.

Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti understands the impact the spot has had on college football fans nationwide, especially since conference visibility and branding are more important than ever in an era of conference realignment and lucrative television deals.

"I can tell you that I've learned from Big Ten fans and staff that this spot is really important, so I'll leave it at that." Petitti told CBS Sports at Big Ten Media Days.

USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington officially joined the Big Ten on Friday, bringing years of conference shuffling to fruition. The league now boasts a nation-high 18 schools, all of which are set to compete this season.
