Oops — it’s not for sale.
Britney Spears found herself in a pickle when her Thousand Oaks mansion was falsely listed for sale on the MLS system in Los Angeles, likely due to a hack, according to TMZ .
The erroneous listing, which had the property listed at just under $9 million, quickly spread to other real estate sites like Realtor.com and Zillow, igniting a social media storm.

Spears’ management team sprang into action, contacting the high-profile agents named in the listing, none of whom knew anything about it.
The bogus post was quickly taken down, but questions remain: who was behind the stunt, and why?

In 2022, Spears and her now ex-husband Sam Asghari bought an 11,000-square-foot mansion in Calabasas for $11.8 million, only to sell it a year later at a loss — for $10.1 million.
Over the years, she’s owned properties in Westlake Village, Hollywood Hills, Malibu, Beverly Hills and even two condos in New York’s Greenwich Village. Back in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, she owns a 7.4-acre property where her mother still resides.
As for the Thousand Oaks mansion, Spears had considered leaving it, but ultimately decided to stay put.
