WATCH: Big Ten welcomes West Coast teams to the conference

For all of the talk, articles, and speculation out there, you may have lost track of the fact that Friday was the official date that the four former Pac-12 schools -- Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington are officially a part of the Big Ten .

Not only did the conference welcome the four schools with a new "maps" commercial , it also released a pretty cool video on social media to roll out the red carpet. The "Conference of Champions" may be no more, but a lot of those titles will carry on over into the Big Ten. In case that was lost on anyone, the welcome video is set to the call of some of the adrenaline-pumping moments from the four schools with theatrical music accompanying it.

I don't know about you, but I for one can't wait for some of the culture and history of the four former Pac-12 teams to clash with the tradition and mystique of the Big Ten.
