LeBron James has yet to really talk about the Los Angeles Lakers' newest statue of the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, but his social media post on Saturday reveals how he feels about it.

On Friday, the Lakers unveiled the second of three planned statues for Bryant. The bronze statue also features Gianna, with Kobe kissing his daughter's forehead in the heartwarming tribute.

While James is still in Paris as he attempts to lead Team USA to the gold medal, he has already seen photos of the statue. On his Instagram Stories, the Lakers forward shared a photo of it and captioned his post with the "infinity" symbol.

The four-time NBA champion didn't say a word, but the emoji he used spoke volumes and highlighted his thoughts on it. For James, the statue ensures that Kobe and Gigi will forever be remembered.

According to Kobe's widow, Vanessa Bryant, the statue was inspired by two "iconic courtside moments of Kobe and Gigi." The father-daughter duo loved attending Lakers games in the past.

The statue also features a plaque showing Kobe's quote in which he called Gianna a "beast." There's another line celebrating the Black Mamba as the "Most Valuable Girl Dad."

“We merged two iconic courtside moments of Kobe and Gigi. Gianna has her gorgeous smile on her face and Kobe is kissing the top of her head while wearing the Philadelphia Eagles beanie that Gigi gifted him for Christmas. He’s also wearing a WNBA hoodie he wore courtside to the game with Gigi," Vanessa shared while speaking during the intimate ceremony to unveil the statues.

"Kobe was the first NBA player to wear that orange hoodie to a big game and that was to show his support for Gigi’s dreams and for women across all sports. That was a moment he shared with Gigi that will always be a powerful representation of the movement towards equality that was always so important to our family."

The statue is indeed a beautiful way to celebrate the life of Kobe and Gigi, not as athletes but as father and daughter. As LeBron James suggested, the two will be remembered forever.
