Ben Affleck has unveiled an edgy new look amid ongoing speculation that he and wife Jennifer Lopez are heading for a divorce .

The Air actor debuted a cool new look over the weekend, showing off his buzzed locks framing the faux hawk he now seems to be rocking, per Page Six . He was spotted walking around Los Angeles on Saturday (August 3), and later driving a blue motorcycle, sporting his new style, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail , pairing the new haircut with gray jeans, a Red Hot Chili Peppers T-shirt, black leather jacket, black boots and black aviator sunglasses.

Another notable feature of the ensemble is actually what was missing as Affleck was once again seen ditching his wedding band. The Argo director has been seen wearing the symbolic ring off and on since rumors of a rift between him and Lopez began swirling earlier this year, which really took off after the "On the Floor" singer reacted to a cryptic post about unhealthy relationships in May . Since then, sources have claimed that the pair, who last month marked their second wedding anniversary on separate coasts , have a "slim" chance of reconciling .

The Oscar winner's new 'do isn't the only big change he's made recently. After he and Lopez listed their Beverly Hills estate for sale , Affleck reportedly purchased a new $20.5 million mansion in Los Angeles not far from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner that will allow the former flames to better coparent their three children: Violet , 18, Seraphina , 15, and Samuel , 12.
