    Average LA County Gasoline Price Rises Slightly

    LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent Saturday to $4.783, one day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.

    The average price is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago but 15.1 cents less than one month ago and 14.1 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.711 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

    The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $4.699, one day after remaining unchanged. It is 1.6 cents more than one week ago but 13.8 cents less than one month ago and 16.1 cents lower than one year ago.

    The Orange County average price has dropped $1.76 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

    The national average price dropped a half-cent to $3.509, one day after a four-day streak of increases totaling 3.4 cents ended with a decrease of one-tenth of a cent. It is 1.3 cents more than one week ago and 2.2 cents higher than one month ago but 2 cents less than one year ago.

    The national average price has dropped $1.507 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
