    Nobody Wants This (Netflix)
    Kristen Bell and Adam Brody star in this romantic comedy series which centers around an unexpected romance between Jo (Bell), an agnostic sex podcaster, and Noah (Brody), a charming rabbi. Inspired by the life of series creator, Erin Foster, and husband, Simon Tikhman, the show explores the complexities of an interfaith relationship, and all the difficulties that come along with it, such as unaccepting family members and cultural differences. This new series tackles themes of individual growth, religion, and love.

    English Teacher (Hulu)
    This comedy-drama follows Evan Marquez (Brian Jordan Alvarez), a gay high school English teacher, and his coworkers as they attempt to juggle the demands of their students and students' families. In a high school located in Austin, Texas, Evan struggles daily to navigate his more socially progressive viewpoints and sexuality with the conservative Texas landscape, as well as the traditional values of the Texans that surround him. The show touches on topics of censorship, queerness in an academic setting, and politics.

    Masters of the Air (Apple TV+)
    Starring Austin Butler, Callum Turner, and Anthony Boyle, this war drama miniseries follows the 100th Bomb Group (a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber unit in the Eighth Air Force during World War II) as they take on life-threatening missions inside German-occupied Europe. The show demonstrates the dangers and intensity of war as well as the friendships that are formed throughout the airmen's journey. Created by John Shiban and John Orloff, the series is a companion piece to Band of Brothers (2001) and The Pacific (2010), and is also based on the 2007 book by Donald L. Miller, Masters of the Air.

    The Penguin (Max)
    Set in the immediate aftermath of The Batman (2022) , mob underboss Oswald Cobb, played by Colin Farrell, is determined to exploit the chaos caused by the Riddler’s flood which killed thousands of Gotham’s citizens. Based on the DC Comics character, the Penguin, this new drama series brings a more modern edge to the classic villain. The show explores the Penguin's rise to power within the criminal underworld of Gotham City.

    Grotesquerie (Hulu)
    The new horror-fiction series, co-created by Ryan Murphy, follows troubled Detective Lois Tryon (Nancy Nash-Betts) and journalist nun Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), as they struggle to solve a string of grisly murders in their small town. Feeling that these crimes are somehow connected to her personal life, Detective Lois grapples with personal demons amid finding answers to the murders plaguing her community. The show tackles themes of addiction, family-life, and faith.
