Foo Fighters at BMO Stadium - Aug. 9-10

With Steven Tyler calling it quits recently and many speculating that the Stones might roll no more after their extremely successful recent tour , it might be up to the Foo Fighters to give music fans the big arena rock bliss they seek for the foreseeable future. And they're more than up for it, especially after getting Josh Freese (one of the best drummers out there) to take beloved bandmate Taylor Hawkins' place after his passing. Get  ready to wave lots of devil horns.

The Diamonds and Rosé Experience by Bravo - Aug. 9-11

Can't get enough of Bravo TV shows' dish and drama? Check out this Bucket Listers bash in the EP LP space for some glam and goodies. With immersive cocktail bars, a gallery of Bravo star-inspired art, photo ops, themed food and drinks and table side gaming (including trivia that tests your Housewives and Vanderpump knowledge) you'll want to be there to watch what happens.

Khruangbin at the Hollywood Bowl - Aug. 10

The trippy Texas group are hard to categorize, but their enigmatic instrumentations appeal to fans of psych-rock, jazz, disco and global glam, all of which should be complemented by the breezy vibe at the Bowl. Expect an escapist aural and visual experience. Unknown Mortal Orchestra opens.

Guerin Swing's "Layers of L.A." art show at Bruce Lurie Gallery - Aug. 10

Join the creator of Los Angeles' "Best of L.A. 2024" cover image, artist Guerin Swing aka "Mr. L.A.," as he unveils his latest work at Bruce Lurie Gallery this Saturday. Alanis Morrisette at the Kia Forum - Aug. 10

After celebrating the 25th anniversary of Jagged Little Pill a couple years ago, vocal powerhouse Alanis Morissette’s latest tour (which ends in L.A.) looks forward as it looks back and welcomes two special guests. "The Triple Moon Tour" is in fact, a trifecta of female talent with rock legend Joan Jett and hot country rocker Morgan Wade on the bill.

Nisei Japanese Festival in Little Tokyo - Aug. 10-11

Little Tokyo is hosting a full week of festivities kicking off this weekend with a street party full of dancing, traditional taiko drumming, food, music and more. Saturday, the festivities are centered at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) with a tea ceremony, arts and crafts and more. Sunday, the Grand Parade features traditional Japanese dancers, community groups, and the newly crowned Nisei Week Queen and Court walking in the streets.

' Mr. & Mrs. Smith' Escape Room at Westfield Century City - Aug. 10-12

Amazon MGM Studios’ Mr. and Mrs. Smith offers a themed Escape Room at Westfield Century City this weekend. Fans of the series will enjoy an easter egg-filled gaming experience in celebration of the show’s 16 Emmy nominations.
