The Dodgers’ Offense Needs Help
On his Bobblehead night, Will Smith blasted a 3-1 sinker off Lance Lynn in the first inning of the Dodgers first game against the White Sox. Leading up to the home run, Lynn had thrown the same sinker away from Smith. Smith did not take the bait and took the...
A New Starting Goaltender in Los Angeles for 23-24 Season?
The Los Angeles Kings received great goaltending from Pheonix Copley in the 2022-23 season. He played so well he signed a new 1-year contract to remain with the Kings. However, with all of the free agent goaltenders, and some big names, will the Kings have a new starting goaltender next season?
LAFC is Experiencing a Decline
The Los Angeles Football Club has performed poorly in the last few weeks. After a painful defeat against Leon at the BMO Stadium, LAFC hasn’t been the same. LAFC drew to Atlanta United 0-0 following a humiliating 4-0 defeat against Houston Dynamo last Saturday. Dynamo players Nelson Giovanny Quiñónes Iturre, Amine Bassi, Franco Escobar, and Corey Baird’s goals were enough to get the three points.
Can This Be The End of Chicharito?
The high elevation stage for the US Open Cup Quarter finals match fit the storylines attached to this match between the LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake. With the MLS Cup far from reach, the US Open Cup was Greg Vanney’s last opportunity to make a case for his job. He decided to start a formation with the team’s main formation, with Chicharito leading the charge.
History Repeats Itself for LAFC
Once again LAFC was on the verge of creating history, not only for MLS but also for themselves. Unfortunately in arguably the two biggest games of the season LAFC played lifeless. This isn’t the first time LAFC crumbles in a intercontinental Championship. As back in 2020 they too lost this same Concacaf Champions League. This one stings even more because LAFC has heavily favorite to win. With Leon having almost 30 days off. Meanwhile LAFC had match after match that kept them in form. While history did not shine so brightly LAFC was hoping to make history and cement themselves as a big time club. Unfortunately, for them history would repeat itself and they would go on to lose again.
Dodgers’ Bullpen Collapses
Baseball has entered meaningful territory. Teams win the divisions during games after Memorial Day. A June gloom that reflects the state of mind the Dodgers’ bullpen currently finds itself in fills the Los Angeles skies. Their bullpen isn’t helping their case for winning the division. After bullpen’s collapse,...

Los Angeles Kings Trade Petersen, Walker; Add Depth in 3-Team Trade
The Los Angeles Kings and general manager Rob Blake did not want to wait until the Stanley Cup was awarded to get busy with roster moves. He knew things had to be done and players had to be moved to create additional cap space for the upcoming season. He traded goaltender Cal Petersen and defensemen Sean Walker and prospect Helge Grans in a bug, surprising 3-team trade on Tuesday.
RECAP: Club Leon Humbles LAFC in Awful Final Performance
The stage was perfect. Los Angeles at home, with the 3252 and the rest of the fans, perfect weather on a Sunday night, and the atmosphere as good as ever in a CONCACAF final. It was the perfect scenario until the whistle blew. LAFC could not turn things around in...

Ding Dong, Chris Klein Is Out
The city of Los Angeles exuded a sigh of relief. “Ding-dong, the witch is dead,” the supporters scream into the Twitter void. The boycott work. Chris Klein is out. Many fans sacrificed their unconditional love because they demanded change in the front office. After 10 years of continuously disappointing fans, Galaxy ownership decided to end Chris Klein’s tenure.
I Witnessed Syndergaard Last Start
Growls filled the air of our ride to Dodgers Stadium. Hunger overtook our urgency to get to the game. With Cielito Lindo’s world famous taquitos only a few blocks away from the stadium, my friend and I opted to make a pit stop for food. By the time we...
Kings Petersen Getting a Second Chance on Main Roster?

CONCACAF Champions League Final Preview
We are only a few days away from kicking off the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Final where LAFC will face off against Club Leon. It’ll be the second time these two clubs face each other after the two faced off in the round of 16 in 2020. In that edition, the Black and Gold reached the final when they tournament had to resume in the bubble in Orlando during the pandemic. A lot of things have changed since then,
A Tale of Two Cities
Throughout the year we have seen LAFC start slow and go full blown Western Conference powerhouse. Currently sitting in first even with having missed two games. They also have had to balance US Open Cup and the Concacaf Champions League. It is a testament to the players and coaching staff for always keeping them ready for any moment. Credit is also due to the scouting department and executives who bring in quality players for the club. With this being said, it is no doubt why LAFC has been such a successful club this year. Now you compare their rivals the LA Galaxy and they’ve had a terrible season. Sitting in last place with only 9 points. In comparison LAFC has 25 points. A 16 point difference! Showing the opposite trajectories these clubs are in.
Greg Vanney Has To Go
After another installment of the LA rivalry, the LA Galaxy came out victorious over LAFC, winning 2-0. However, despite the win, it is evident that Vanney needs to be replaced. The team currently occupies last place in Western Conference. While securing a ticket to the quarter-finals of the US Open Cup is a positive step forward, it does not make up for the horrendous start the Galaxy has had.
Bobby Miller Makes Debut
Los Angeles Dodgers 2020 29th draft pick and number one pitching prospect, Bobby Miller, debuted against the Atlanta Braves. He faced Ronald Acuna Jr. on his first at-bat as a major leaguer and started him off with an inside 100.1 MPH four-seam fastball. It took just one pitch to settle...
Kings Players in Play With Contracts Nearing the End
With the off-season comes questions about next season. For the Los Angeles Kings, those questions do not have answers right now. General manager Rob Blake has likely already made a to-do list for the off-season. Who to re-sign and who to trade with one year left on their deal?. Some...
