Los Fresnos native records music with Tennessee producer

HARLINGEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — Rivas Garza, also known as Staarz, has been making music since the age of three.

The Los Fresnos native said it began when her grandmother gave her a microphone. Since then she said she could never stop singing and is glad her family encouraged her passion for music.

In 2022 she contacted producer Tommee Profitt. With a bit of research, she found he was the producer who made some of the songs that inspired her. She said ‘Hey Tommee, my name is Staarz and I was just wondering if by any chance you would wanna make a song with me? I’m a singer/songwriter and it would be an honor to work with you.’

Staarz says she has been through so much throughout her career, but despite it all, she never gave up and it’s the reason why she has been successful.
