Texas DPS seizes over ten pounds of suspected cocaine in Carson County traffic stop
CARSON COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) seized more than ten pounds of suspected cocaine after a traffic stop in Carson County. On Thursday, July 4, at approximately 5:39 p.m., a DPS Trooper stopped a 2024 Ford Edge traveling east on I-40 near Groom for a traffic violation. During the stop, the Trooper allegedly discovered five tape-wrapped bricks of cocaine concealed inside the trunk area, according to a statement from the DPS.
NCTCOG to host hybrid public meeting
