Police: suspect wanted for stealing from multiple vehicles
DURYEA, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — Police in Luzerne County are looking for a suspect they say stole from several vehicles. According to the Duryea Police Department, on Monday around 1 p.m., police were dispatched to Pride Mobility on York Ave. for a report of thefts from multiple vehicles between 8:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. earlier that day.

Swimmer cited for disorderly behavior
Berwick, Pa. — A man who was screaming about religion and witchcraft at a public pool was cited for being disorderly. Troopers were called to Ber-Vaughn Pool, 6084 Park Road, Berwick, on Saturday at 8 p.m. for reports of a disruptive man. The man, identified as 35-year-old Eli Gilsky of Berwick, was allegedly screaming loudly about religion and witchcraft, causing the crowd at the pool to become alarmed and annoyed. Gilsky was cited for disorderly conduct, according to police.
Nine Huskies Named to CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Nine Bloomsburg student-athletes have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large honors. Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) from the men's golf team earned his first career CSC Academic All-District distinction after recording an average score of 81.6 in 12 rounds during the 2023-24 season. LONGSWAMP TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM)– Pennsylvania State Police say a man fell victim to a gift card scam for a year, losing thousands of dollars. State Police in Reading say they were investigating a theft by deception when an Alburtis man in his 70s reported a possible scam on July 1. Troopers say the man reported losing approximately $90,000 in Apple gift cards over the course of a year.
