    Stolen truck, trailer involved in I-79 multivehicle accident

    LOST CREEK, W.Va. (WBOY) — A stolen truck and an attached trailer were involved in an overnight multivehicle accident on I-79 Southbound, resulting in the roadway being closed.

    The Harrison County 911 log states that departments were alerted to the accident just after 3 a.m. on Saturday at mile marker 107 in Lost Creek.

    A Harrison County 911 official stated that in addition to the stolen truck and trailer, two other vehicles were involved but no one was transported. The official also confirmed the truck was stolen from Taylor County, no one was arrested and no suspects have been named at this time. The West Virginia State Police is currently investigating.

    Lost Creek and Stonewood fire departments, along with Anmoore EMS and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department responded to the incident.
