Three Projects At Fairmont State University To Receive Federal Funding
Fairmont State University (FSU) will receive $6,890,000 from several federal agencies for three improvement projects on campus. “Receiving federal funding for these projects will have a tremendous impact on campus,” said Christy Burner, director of Grants and Sponsored Programs at FSU. “These appropriations will go directly towards improving essential educational facilities, enhancing campus security, and providing our students with the learning environment they need to achieve excellence.”

He has worked with esteemed institutions, serving as the Janet L. Derek Clark Selected by Los Angeles Angels
West Virginia left-handed pitcher Derek Clark has been drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the ninth round of the 2024 MLB draft. Clark transferred to WVU before last season after beginning his collegiate career at Northwood University (DII). He got a late start to his 2024 campaign due to injury but finished the season with an 8-3 record, 91 strikeouts, four complete games, one complete game shutout across 97.2 innings pitched with a 3.23 ERA.
