MCPD Investigating Vandalism at a Montgomery County Public School
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) released the following summary of events regarding an incident that occurred Sunday morning in Bethesda. Per MCPD: “On Sunday, August 11, 2024, Montgomery County Police 2nd District officers were dispatched to Bethesda Elementary School (7600 Arlington Road) at approximately 7:14 a.m. for the report of a vandalism. During the overnight hours, unknown suspects spray painted anti-Semitic phrases over the parking lot area of the school and a nearby building in the 4900 block of Del Ray Ave. At this time, there are no suspect descriptions. MCPD is actively investigating.”
