    Loudoun County roads to shut down at night for road work

    LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Sewer and waterline improvements will be shutting down roads in Loudoun County at night.

    The road work will be along Church Street, from East Market Street to Loudoun Street, and will go on until Aug. 29. Though there will be no work done on Friday or Saturday nights.

    Loudoun County school board approves cell phone policy, joining nearby districts

    While the improvements take place, there will be road closures and detours each night. Loudoun Street, from King Street to Harrison Street, will be closed at night for about one week. Church Street, from East Market Street to Loudoun Street, will be closed for about five weeks.

    All roads will be open during the day for traffic.
