Louisa hosts Virginia State Little League tournament
On July 18 - 23, Louisa Little League and District 14 will be hosting the 2024 Virginia State Little League Major Baseball Tournament. 16 teams representing each district across Virginia will square off on Purcell Field in Louisa, and Luck Field in Mineral, starting at 10 a.m. on each day. The Opening Ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at the Louisa County High School Athletic Stadium (757 Davis Hwy Mineral, VA 23117), with the first game scheduled to take place the following day. In a county known for its rich history of baseball, local officials were proud to make the announcement.
