In June, BOGO Fireworks, for the first time in its history here in Owensboro, was in a brick and mortar location. Prior to 2024, Joni Autry operated her successful fireworks business under a tent located in a variety of places on the south end of Frederica Street. For years, that tent was situated in the side parking lot of Office Depot behind Panera Bread Company. It later moved behind Towne Square Mall. Even later, Joni set up shop in front of Towne Square Mall. But, this year, she managed to move BOGO inside the former Stay Fit location at J.R. Miller Boulevard.
