Quilt Trail Quilters is a new Quilting Guild in Franklin County.

August meeting and workshop, ‘Learn Techniques to Add Color on Fabric,’ is Aug. 3 at Lighthouse Church, located at 289 Franklin Plaza in Louisburg.

The meeting is from 9:30-11:30 a.m. It’s free to attend.

Do you enjoy quilting, learning the latest quilting techniques, and getting together with other quilters?  If you answered yes to any of these, you are a candidate to join Quilt Trails Quilters.

Quilt Trails Quilters is an outreach of the Quilt Trails of the Tar & Roanoke Rivers.  Quilt Trails bring the tradition of displaying painted quilt blocks on buildings to Piedmont and Eastern North Carolina counties bordering the Tar & Roanoke Rivers, capturing the history of our communities.

The organization’s mission is to preserve the history of the region’s communities and to promote tourism and economic growth in the region.
