ALDOT grants to help fund $1.5M worth of projects at 3 municipal airports
Nearly half a million dollars in state funding is being distributed among three different municipal airports around the state. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) announced more than $485,000 in grant money will go to airport projects totaling around $1.5 million around the state. The airports impacted include:. Former Dothan doctor recorded children, molested unconscious patients: Charges
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - A former Dothan doctor faces charges he illegally recorded video and molested unconscious patients and others after moving to Michigan. Oumair Aejaz allegedly used hidden cameras to record children as young as 2 years old along with women of various ages in hospital rooms, changing areas, inside closets, bathrooms, and bedrooms he could access, and at an area swim club.
Saint James School 9th Grade Visits Camp Butter & Egg
On Friday, August 16, the Saint James School ninth grade class headed to Camp Butter & Egg outside of Troy, Alabama for a day of team building and community bonding. The Saint James School Advisory Program, led by the High School Guidance Office, works to create lasting friendships and a sense of community among the newest high school students. The 9th grade advisories are assisted by a team of seniors who serve as Peer Leaders. The Peer Leaders meet weekly with the 9th grade students to help them transition to high school.
