Louisville, KY – On June 18, 2024, detectives from the LMPD Robbery Unit, assisted by the Mt. Sterling Police Department, apprehended Tommy Hardin in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

Mr. Hardin stands accused of robbing two businesses in the 5th Division—House of Gelish Nails and Bearnos Pizza—on June 10, 2024. The Robbery Detectives executed multiple search warrants in Montgomery County, KY, and Bath County, KY, leading to the recovery of evidence linked to both incidents.

This arrest marks a significant development as Mr. Hardin has a history of violent crime. In 2003, he committed 33 business robberies across Metro Louisville.

Subsequently, he was convicted in 2005 and served 20 years of a 40-year sentence before being paroled in 2022. Additionally, Mr. Hardin has prior robbery convictions in Warren, Meade, Nelson, Hardin, and Daviess Counties in Kentucky.

Currently, Mr. Hardin faces charges of Robbery 1st Degree and remains detained at the Montgomery County Jail pending further legal proceedings.
