    Beshear: Possible tornado touched down in Union County

    Remnants of Tropical Depression Beryl could bring tornadoes to the Louisville area Tuesday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

    Parts of Southern Indiana and Kentucky, including Jefferson County and Oldham County were placed under a Hazardous Weather Outlook early Tuesday due to an enhanced risk of tornadoes, heavy rain and high winds expected to move through the area in the evening.

    7:23 p.m.: Possible tornado in Union County, Beshear says

    Gov. Andy Beshear said there are reports of a possible tornado that touched down in Union County.

    According to the post on X, formerly Twitter, first responders are in the area confirming the tornado and there have been no injuries reported.

    Several counties were also placed under a Flood Advisory , including Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Meade and Ohio counties in Kentucky and Harrison County in Indiana.

    5:55 p.m.: Tornado warning issued for Bullitt, Hardin, Meade counties

    The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a tornado warning for Bullitt, Hardin and Meade counties until 6:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The warning includes the city of Radcliff.

    According to a report, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 9 miles northwest of Elizabethtown at 5:50 p.m., moving northeast at 35 mph.

    5:05 p.m.: Tornado warning issued for Hardin County

    The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a new tornado warning for portions of Breckinridge and Grayson counties, as well as Hardin County, until 5:45 p.m.

    A thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located by radar roughly seven miles west of Leitchfield, moving northeast at 35 miles per hour.

    4:48 p.m.: Tornado warning issued for Breckenridge, Grayson, Ohio counties

    The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a tornado warning for Breckenridge, Grayson and Ohio counties in Kentucky until 5:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

    According to a report, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles east of Hartford, moving northeast at 25 miles per hour.

    3:55 p.m.: Tornado watch issued for Louisville metro

    Jefferson County and neighboring counties in Kentucky and southern Indiana are under a tornado watch until midnight Wednesday. The National Weather Service in Louisville stated several tornadoes are likely in the watch area, which also includes part of Ohio, Tennessee and Illinois.

    Hail up to a half-inch in size and isolated wind gusts up to 70 mph are also listed as threats, according to the report.

    Tuesday evening : Showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Low around 70. Southeast wind around 9 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

    Wednesday : A 30% chance of showers, mainly before 2 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

    Wednesday night : A 10% chance of showers before 8 p.m. Mostly clear, with a low around 65 degrees. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.

    Thursday : Sunny, with a high near 86 degrees. Calm wind.

    Thursday night : Mostly clear, with a low around 68 degrees.

    Friday : Sunny, with a high near 90 degrees.
